DOWN to EARTH Film

The film reminds us that we are all Earth Keepers. That we carry a responsibility to leave the world a better place for generations to come. The film makes us aware of our personal relevance and our interconnectedness. And how we collectively are able to manifest change, without having to wait for anybody’s permission. Rather than continuing the aim to change the system or the mindset of its leaders, our aim is to generate people-powered change from the ground up.

This film is not to be consumed, but to be worked with.

We have seen many different ways in which the film has been used to inspire, provoke, educate or enable change. To spread the wisdom of the Earth Keepers to the wider world a group of like minded people have come together to form The Down to Earth Foundation.

Leaving behind their cosmopolitan life, a couple and their three young children embark on the journey of a lifetime. They travel the ends of the earth searching for a new perspective on life.

In their five-year journey across six continents, they live with some of the oldest indigenous communities on the planet. They gain access to tribal sages never filmed or interviewed before, without a crew or schedule, just one backpack and one camera each. And the curiosity to listen.

House of Wonder enabled the global launch of DOWN to EARTH Film.
